users to easily compare the life cycle cost and
performance of equivalent concrete and asphalt municipal
pavement cross-sections. CANPav™ 2.0 is unique in
that it allows users to easily compare options,
utilizing the data for twenty-four default municipal
concrete pavement cross-sections with the equivalent
asphalt cross-sections. Users have complete control and
can change any cross-section or material cost inputs
that will be used to construct estimates for municipal
streets or commercial parking lots. The software also
has a built-in Maintenance and Rehabilitation schedule
for both concrete and asphalt pavements to estimate the
life cycle cost of a project over a 50 year analysis
period.

conduct numerous “what if” scenarios comparing the
