ARMCA’s Concrete Pump Operators Safety Training & Certification
Program
This program has been accepted by the Canadian Ready-Mixed
Concrete Association (CRMCA) as the national program for
Pump Certification in Canada, and is recognized by all Concrete
Associations across Canada.
This is an experienced based program.
Line Pump Operator - minimum of 6 months experience (Class 3)
3 or 4 Section Boom Operator - 12 months experience (Class 2)
50 m Boom Operator (or larger) - 18 months experience (Class 1)
Prior to writing the exam, ARMCA will provide operators with the
opportunity to review safe work procedures in a classroom
environment with a certified instructor. Upon completion of the
requirements, and successfully passing the exam, you will
achieve certification valid for 2 years. You will be
issued a wallet card from CRMCA as proof of completion of the
program.
